Rotate my oldest to do dirtier jobs and use a new one for my dishes.
These sponges last a good long while (as compared to others we have tried) and they do a great job in the scrubbing department
They are strong and do a great job without having to worry about scratching anything.
They won’t scratch your dishes but do a great job at getting stuck on food off.

Have used these for years, they are the best for scrubbing hard to clean pans without scratching, and though a lot of people rail against using sponges due to bacteria concerns, I find that they can be washed and then microwaved damp to kill any bacteria.
It cleans bottoms of pots with cooked-in-grime (you gotta put in some elbow grease and powder cleanser like Ajax for a good scrub) as well as delicate wine glasses
As I use these every day, I need something that will stand up to constant use w/o falling apart or losing its scrub after a few weeks
I always and only use this great Scrub Sponges from Scotch-Brite

but surely, the blue dye leaking from the sponge would indicate poor quality
They look as you expect from the product pictures and they seem to be good quality.

If I put them in the microwave to kill bacteria, the sponge's glue starts to degrade and fall apart
It's true you can put them in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to kill the bacteria but sometime a new sponge just feels good and when you have 9 who cares!

best sponges no bad smell and scratches.
I replace my sponge all the time because I hate the smell they develop.
Will happily buy soon again -- and hope I happen to also be home and am able to secure package(s) before they can be taken
I am actually a big fan of 3M products but this one came in wet with a funny smell
These sponges came damp and had a horrible chemical smell.
