For another, the best way to take off the lid is by turning the dispenser upside-down and tapping it a little--the lid is hard to take off any other way, but it comes off really easily on its own.

For one thing, it's way too easy to get the tape stuck to the plastic part of the dispenser (rather than the metal teeth), and once it's there, it's hard to get off
