Using the "fine" point is okay on larger labels, but it can get difficult to write legibly on small labels with this broad tip.

My wish is that Sharpie would offer an "ultra fine" point laundry marker

Rub-A-Dub worked great the entire four years.

These markers are great in conjunction with Avery Non-Iron Fabric Labels

Sharpie's are always good and ones that won't wash off when you put a name on something is important that it doesn't come off in the wash.

I also marked my plastic containers and it worked well enough to keep the name readable.
