I cut a sleeve from the inner tube and pulled them over the solid tire at the point of the cut
My tire was saved by using this product to glue that piece or rubber back in place, and that works for me.
I then glued together the solid tire and glued the sleeves over the cut area to reinforce it.the glue was drying up as I worked with it in less than 10 seconds and it acted more like a lube than glue as the rubber just wanted to slide around instead of stick.
Removed it with my old trusty tire changer, just an antique manual changer.
I bought 3 no flat solid bicycle tires 20 inch for my electric bicycle which had 22 inch wheels.since no solid bicycle tires are sold 22
I have to fix about 6-8 flats a year between all our bikes (family of 5), and it would be way too expensive to keep buying new inner tubes, so this is a great buy.

If you need a good rubber cement at a reasonable price don't hesitate to buy this item
in the other 5% of the time, you screwed up (maybe not applying enough cement or not centering the patch over the hole
This stuff works as good as any other patch cement I've used.
You have to use rubber cement so the rubber melts and fuses to the patch because if you use other glue or adhesive it wont be cemented and fused togehter like rubber
The Slime Rubber Cement is a good quality product that is easy to useand somewhat trouble free
