Dropped my phone couple of times and it helped protect my screen

As far as, will it protect the real phone screen underneath this glass screen protector if it drops
Let's hope I never have to test it's capacity to handle a crack, since I haven't cracked the screen yet
It came with wet/dry wipes to clean the screen and a piece of cloth which I didn't use
