  • I will never understand why Sony discontinued such a wonderful product, other than the price being too low to make a profit.
  • These are an amazing price for an even more amazing product, don't waste your money on the high end brands when you can get these for what seems to be a steal!
  • If you want a killer pair of over-the-ear headphones but you don't feel like paying 5 times more to Apple Inc. and Dr. Dre to pay a bunch of professional athletes to endorse the product, buy these headphones.
  • Great product, comfortable, but they are not lying when they say there is a lot of bass.
  • R Extra Bass Earbud HeadsetI recommend both these products, especially for bass lovers like myself.

Reviews around cord (5.00 of 5)

  • The Beats headphones came with a nice travel case and removable/ replaceable cords that allow you to choose between an inline mic and volume control for a phone or MP3 player or a plain straight cable for DJ'ing
  • This model also has a mic and bass control on the great flat cords, so no kinks or tangling... ever!
  • The cord is average length and work fine for sitting at the computer
  • I love the flat, slightly ribbed cord, and I have yet to find it tangled, or in danger of breaking like normal round/smooth jacket cords
  • These are a great low cost option for Apple devices: light, comfortable, flat cord and convenient controls

Reviews around comfort (5.00 of 5)

  • Comfort wise, they are pretty comfortable, but somewhat insulated from both outside noise and air
  • Same great bass.as far as comfort they will be tight at first but eventually will be more comfortable as you use them
  • Comfort wise, they are pretty comfortable, but somewhat insulated from both outside noise and air
  • The sound quality is what you expect from a higher end brand and the comfort is spectacular!!!

Reviews around price (4.59 of 5)

  • The price was unbeatable and they were comfortable right out of the box
  • These are an amazing price for an even more amazing product, don't waste your money on the high end brands when you can get these for what seems to be a steal!
  • They have excellent sound with a very good low , they are flexible , comfortable and especially good price
  • The option to replace the headphone cable if it gets damaged is nice, but I will sacrifice these two luxuries for the excellent sound quality and lower price
  • Don't let the cheaper price full you

Reviews around bass (3.94 of 5)

  • These had the most remarkable bass I had ever heard in a headphone set
  • The "Extra Bass" is not just an advertising gimmick; they actually rumble on your ears if you listen to Hip Hop or Electronic music with heavy drum machine bass, yet they never sound distorted even when listening to them at 100% volume level
  • I guess its due to the foam padding, but if you give that up then you lose the boomy bass, which, by the way, can distort a little if pushed
  • Love these headphones the bass is awesome and the rest of the ranges are great as well.
  • the sound is freaking sick, the bass is pretty darn good

Reviews around bite (1.00 of 5)

  • The mids suffer a bit though
  • I was a bit skeptical bout the Sony MDR
  • Be aware these are not electronically noise-cancelling headphones like the three-figure expensive models from Bose (and also Sony), but since they cover the ears they do reduce outside noise quite a bit anyway.
