Magnets could be stronger but they work great for holding different papers to my locker at work.
Magnets are inconsistent, and on the weak side
Magnets work fine on objects such as my refrigerator and metal shelves.

These have a very strong magnet and are good quality clips.
Love these, good quality, must have on my fridge and around my desk.
The quality is just as good as the original one hanging
I wound up ordering more once I realized what good quality they are
I've been looking for sturdy, good quality magnets and these seem to do the trick.

These things are no joke
One good thing about the weak magnets is that if you grab the paper to pull it down, the magnet will let go before the paper tears, thus protecting your paper.
You get a lot for not that much money, and they seem to hold things well.
so I only had two things on my list, but they were two important things

Works exactly as they are supposed to.
I did see a few reviews stating that they scratch up surfaces
As others mentioned, the magnet itself is a bit recessed into the clip, so be careful moving them around (don't slide them or they might scratch the surface!)
But it is a balance between strength and scratching my surfaces, because I've used magnets that were too strong before
If you don't pick them up however to move them to the location you desire, you could scratch the surface, so just be careful
