Double vinyl LP pressing. 2010 release, the third album from the Country/Pop superstar. Speak Now is the follow-up to her multi-million-selling 2008 album, Fearless. The 21-year-old singer/songwriter wrote the entire album on her own and co-produced ...
With "Speak Now," she proves herself to be not just a great singer, but one of the greatest artists of our time
None of the other songs are what it rips as
There is no doubt about it - Taylor Swift is a talented songwriter and a pure artist.
I think she is one of the most talented artists out there right now
At 70-years-old and largely skipping several decades of pop music -- I am finding young artists like Taylor have wonderful voices, writing skills, great backup, -- I love her music, Katy Perry, etc
If you like Taylor Swift's country, then you probably will like this album!
I have loves Taylor Swift's lyrics from her first album
No longer is Swift rushing blindly into love or advising other girls to look to their futures - heck, it's hard to believe that Taylor Swift has become jaded enough to pen a song like "Never Grow Up
This and Fearless are report-ably Taylor Swift's best CDs
I still love all her songs from "Taylor Swift" and "Fearless", but I feel as if now, more than ever, is the perfect time for Taylor Swift's songs to change.
The Cd plays great, Great Songs by a great and talented Singer/Songwriter Taylor Swift.
She loves this CD along with all the other Taylor Swift songs.
I question this later, but if we take Swift at her word on "Speak Now," a woman's insistence upon breaking up a wedding in order to deliver an ex-boyfriend from a lifetime shackled to the wrong mate is a brave choice
Speak Now" - a humorous little tune where Swift envisions breaking up a wedding.
Taylor Swift is great, and this CD is my favorite by her
Yeah, she has a good voice and sings okay songs, but in this album she sounds so much mature and the songs are a lot more mature than her others
Her voice is stronger (maybe prettier?), the music more developed
Like her first album Fearless, Taylor's voice and songwriting are wonderful.
Although she has a beautiful voice, she needs to change it up more so the songs are not quite a single.
I have rarely heard such anger in Taylor's voice, and it's almost ridiculously obvious that this song is written for Camilla Belle (you know, that snotty woman who stole Joe Jonas)
For those that don't know:Angst, often confused with anxiety, is a transcendent emotion in that it combines the unbearable anguish of life with the hopes of overcoming this seemingly impossible situation
Her grandparents could not afford to spoil her as they normally do and I was able to steal it at a fraction of what it is going for now
Angst denotes the constant struggle one has with the burdens of life that weighs on the dispossessed and not knowing when the salvation will appear
Swift still prefers to write about her own broken love stories, the production is still a glossy pop-rock with only the faintest of country tinge to harken back to her roots, and Swift herself is still as dead-to-rights honest as she's always been
And of course the angst-ridden revenge threats (Picture to Burn)
In 2009, the world collectively hugged Taylor Swift as she stood speechless and watched Kanye West interrupt her acceptance speech
This is a wonderful C/D. Words and music by Taylor Swift is sweet and catchy.
While a professional critic like Lefsetz may make a convenient target for the song, it seems reasonable to interpret Swift's message in a broader sense that applies to everyone who propagates hateful speech
For Taylor Swift, she replaced the "thank you"s with "I love you"s; for Fearless she added a bit about the title at the beginning; and for this one she made the end-notes the beginning-notes
geeky kanye west disturb her speech but seriously how many disney girls start off
I can understand the impulse buy that "The most helpful critical review" said that he bought the three albums, I count Fearless Platinum as its own album, and how you do it because you have a twenty burning a hole in your
I didn't pay for this cd or this review would have come off more resentful.
so why not?I think on some of her earlier songs were a bit over hyped just like the guy who wrote the The most helpful critical review
At any rate, I know this all sounds like a negative review, but even though a lot of these songs are lackluster to me, "Speak Now" is a pretty great album vices included

you put your arm around me for the first time, you made a reel of a careless man's careful daughter, you are the best thing's that's ever been mine
you remember all the city lights on the water? You saw me start to believe for the first timeYou made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughterYou are the best thing that's ever
you remember, we were sittin' there, by the water? You put your arm around me for the first timeYou made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughterYou are the best thing that's ever been
Taylor regrets not taking friends' advice regarding the notorious lothario ("I ignored [it] when they said/Run as fast as you can")
the pre-chorus, her doubt turns into possible belief as she is on the couch with the boy."Do you remember, we were sittin' there, by the water? You put your arm around me for the first timeYou made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughterYou are the best thing that's ever been mine"The chorus adds to her belief in love, as she reminisces a memorable moment she had with him "by the water
Taylor insists that the woman is an insufferable bridezilla, but it's also possible to interpret the singer's insistence upon breaking up the wedding of her ex-boyfriend as self-centered payback--especially because of the kinds of things she says on other songs
I question this later, but if we take Swift at her word on "Speak Now," a woman's insistence upon breaking up a wedding in order to deliver an ex-boyfriend from a lifetime shackled to the wrong mate is a brave choice
Now is a somewhat humorous song about her daydream about breaking up a wedding ("and her snotty little family all dressed in pastel
For Taylor Swift, she replaced the "thank you"s with "I love you"s; for Fearless she added a bit about the title at the beginning; and for this one she made the end-notes the beginning-notes
Now another example really of bad behavior, breaking up a wedding and taking off with the groom.
