I feel like the phone with no case is less likely to slip out of my hands than when this case is on it.

This is a great way to protect your phone without adding too much bulk.

I feel like the phone actually slides out of my hand considerably easier on the 3 XL case.

But if you don't like having a giant chunk of rubber in your pocket and like the form factor of your $800-$1000 phone then this is a great affordable option that I would highly recommend.

The patterning on the back provides a nice grip and there is an recess in the inside of the case to apply a magnet for car mounting

But in addition to that, I've loved the "grippiness" of their cases, as their cases have always had more grip than the phones they protect.

The edges are raised as well which is good.

Unfortunately, I agree that the material would benefit from feeling less slippery

but it came out feeling like cheap hard plastic leaving it more slippery than the phone itself.
