It is really the perfect height for about a 2 year old.

The kids love it and parents love the umbrella to help keep the sun off them.
You can shorten the pole and collapse the umbrella, but you can't quickly slide the umbrella completely out for storage.
Unfortunately we left town and a windstorm hit, ruining the umbrella even though it was in the down position
It went together fairly easy and the little umbrella is great for keeping the sun off her
Love it, great little splash area and umbrella works great to keep sun out of my kids eyes and keep thw water from getting to hot.
