All of the UAG cases offer excellent protection, feel good in the hand, and look good if you like the industrial/rugged design

My initial reaction is that this case is well designed and seems rugged
This is a well designed armored shell I have dropped my phone multiple times and even accidentally threw the phone 8 feet onto a tile floor with no damage at all

It seems the quality has taken a downside at UAG and they are no better than other cheap products

The buttons feel great, I like that the volume -/+ have a different texture and feel from the Bixby button - I was previously hitting the Bixby button accidentally instead of volume down, as there was no difference in feeling
The buttons on the side are very well depressed with the slightest bit of pressure as if there was no case around it
It's not bulky, fits perfectly on my phone, the buttons are easy to use (BIG ++++) and it's a semi-smooth texture that provides good grip
The buttons still work good (as always) just can't get over how plastic this feels
The buttons are very easy to actuate which does not seem to be the case on a lot of other phone cases where you have to press very hard
