"Gel" seems somewhat misleading - these pens give off excess ink that leave your paper and handwriting looking messy

A nice smooth writing experience with a nice bold line!

By tge FIRST day of using the 207, however, the lines became spotty.

If you appreciate a smooth writing instrument with scribing a fine line, this pen is for you

It's almost like it skipped over invisible lines on the page

the ink does not skip at all and has a very clean smooth line when writing.

A nice semi-soft grip at the front of the pen, nice black ink, and a smooth write on pretty much any paper surface

I'm not sure if there is a magical property to the ink, or a good grip in the hand

They write well, but I have realized I like pens with a better grip on the paper

I like them a lot because there's a variety of colors and they aren't all dark - I use orange a bunch so that if I want to cross something out, I can use a darker pen to make corrections, and if I need to correct that, I can use an even darker color

My writing is called "chicken scratch" and this pen helps me write clesrly and without misrepresentation.

I tried /really/ hard to like these pens, but I just couldn't because they write so bad and the grips make fore an uncomfortable writing experience

I have thrown most of them out with full ink cartridges because the writing is sketchy, meaning most of the time the ink doesn't come

It leaves my writing incredibly messy and it is incredibly frustrating to write with.

I also found the grip to be uncomfortable, likely contributing to the hand fatigue I experienced with the 207

I did try putting the ink of one 207 into the body of a G2, which helped a bit, but lack of glide & scratching continued to be an issue, as did the hand fatigue

For years I've been using I think a special pilot bold gel, which people always tried to steal.

People always try to steal my pens until they realize I know where they are at all times.

It actually turns my chicken scratch handwriting into something nice looking

The box was totally smashed and the tips of the pens did not have that protective plastic tip

Maybe I received a bad box of 207 micros, or maybe my style of writing just isn't compatible with the 207 (I write at a bit of an angle, with the pen resting on my ring finger... ), but I am disappointed & will likely try to return this box of 207's & go back to my much loved G2s!

These were placed into a large box with several other heavy items -- their box was smashed and the pens were spilled throughout the box.

It'd smudge-proof, retractable, and makes my hand writing even prettier to read.

Love the pen, and the ink is tamper proof, ink can't be washed off or erased in any way, so I use it when writing checks.

I wish the green and pink colors weren’t so fluorescent and that it was smear proof - BUT still nice to write with and they don’t bleed
