For those of you without cats, I recommend these for paper storage - the construction is solid and it's nice how the paper trays can be hidden away - helps to make the desk look less cluttered.

I think this could be a great product if they would just use a little bit higher quality materials.
The product is sturdy with no dings, scratches or imperfections to report.
The product wouldnt smell toxic like this if it was real wood, it would be about half the weight, and youd be able to see that it was real wood via close inspection...or normally even not so close inspection.
Great product, it is ready to use, it is solid, the shelves are fixed, they can not be moved, it has a small drawer below and a lid so that the contents can not be seen, buy the black one, it looks very good.

I actually saw the same item in HomeGoods one day for half the cost and fell in love with it then.
The first one arrived cracked in 3 locations, but they replaced the item and happy to have it!
My only negative comment is that Amazon sent me the wrong item first off and did very little to correct it (gave me my money back but wouldn't let me reorder it from another vendor at the same price).
This is a wonderful item, well constructed and very smooth and easy to manipulate
