: Actually, on principal, I'm not really happy with these companies that make knock-offs of genuine, trademarked instruments
Fine carrying case can hold a couple more instruments as well, perfect for sessions.
I prefer --3|45- (rather than the half-covered ---|45- as shown)Overall, a very nice alternative to a recorder, and even for a beginner it should be a good starter instrument
I have rendered all my Walton & Generation whistles to be be session-worthy instruments using hot water and Blu-tack
They are probably not as good as the real deal, but they work for my situation.
Somewhat light and insubstantial feeling for their size, but as far as ABS whistles go, the tone and responsiveness is comparable to Susasto's Oriole line, but a good deal cheaper
If the C whistle were as good as the D, I would have given 5 stars
Advanced players can certainly use these in their collection, especially as their plastic construction makes them ideally suited for playing outside on a cold St. Patricks Day.
I am a decent whistle player and have played my fair share of duds and these rank right up there with the worst.
I would encourage any player, from the novice to the advanced, to purchase a Woodi whistle!

I love the mouthpiece and it does not have any separation in the back like the tin
I have a collection of junk penny whistles but these are of a high quality, Mouthpiece can be removed for cleaning ( and tuning) like a recorder
The mouthpiece, placement of the six holes and the overall balance and feel is really good for each whistle - the C and D tuned versions
The C is a little sharp, but it is somewhat tunable, The D's not as internally in tune and is a little more shrill, but it's not a bad whistle by any stretch

Would love to give these a 5 Star Review and I could except, most important for anyone buying them to have a realistic expectation of what they are actually 'getting' at such a great price
Already have 5-6 Generation whistles lying around somewhere, thought I'd try something new and the price is right...

I own several Susato whistles as well as the Woodi set (C and D)
If the C whistle were as good as the D, I would have given 5 stars
Some of the Susatos are fine, but others are virtually unplayable (For example, the Oriole Bflat, is very unstable), but I prefer the clearer tone of the Woodi (if you like chiff, you might want the Susato; if you like a crystal clear tone, you would probably prefer the Woodi)

Terrible whistles, can't play the high notes, at first I thought I needed
It looks and feels like a real musical instrument, compared to the cheaper tin-style whistles
Based on the reviews for the Smart whistle model that appears to be the same as this one, I bought the Woodi in hopes that it would be easier to play in the higher octave than the Clarke whistle I own.

I'm happy with the product, although I spent $2 more by buying the "Smart" whistle
In lower register it’s ok... but it cracks and breaks in upper register... clogs up really fast and makes it impossible to play
I like the tone and find it easier to blow the high register.
Upper register is pretty loud, and requires quite a bit more air than my brass whistle, but it's a worthy tradeoff for being easier to hit lower register notes
