I went through the directions on what to do if it doesn't work --outlet works, top on correctly etc.

used once and stopped working the reverse works

We shred almost all of our mail and this works really well for that

They are not as messy as oil (been there), and they do keep the shredding mechanism lubed and in good working order.

I finally went to Staples and purchased a Fellowes shredder, a brand that has worked well for my mother for over 16 years.

This one works well for occasional shredding but not if you plan to shred a lot of paper.

Perfect, my old one stopped working after 9 years.

It does not feel like a cheap lightweight plastic piece-o-carp like some others I have seen
