Outside of this one minor issue that is easily corrected with an external phono pre-amp, the turntable is great

This is a good looking, solid turntable that needs some upgrades to live up to the 'audiophile' status that AT claims

Do not waste your money on any of the $1000.00 plus turntable , this turntable is built with durability and Japanese quality control can beseen in sound deliverance, knob movement, and the tone arm is the same used on the high end Turntables.

The turntable is pretty well isolated from vibration, as expected, with Audio-Technica being a well known name in DJ turntables

I think this is a great turntable and the price seems appropriate for what you get.
