Sure enough I installed this RAM and got 4 kernel panics in 15 minutes and the RAM was still extremely hot when I removed it.

every time i restarted it worked for a few hours then i'd get another kernel panic, I gave up and tried calling tech support, they were friendly enough but didn't really offer a viable solution

Make sure your Mac takes 1333MHz DDR3 SODIMM before ordering, otherwise there could be potential compatibility issues with kernel panic, which aren't fun to deal with
