Also I would also highly recommend you save your receipt, and your return shipping label when they die as you'll need the tracking number and all confirmation numbers as I've found the Corsair RMA department tends to lose packages
These memory are cheap now, so it's a super good value now.
this is cheap ("value") RAM
, This is a Really Good value For My Mac Mini Memory and my MacBooks
If you need RAM and this will fit your computer, this kind is a good value.
CORSAIR definitely offers a great deal and even though it says "laptop" memory, the iMac handles it well and so does the RAM
It's an unbelievable deal.
Its a great deal to get them, speed up your PC and its a no fuss memory upgade
I had no issues with the 4GB, but when I saw the great deal for this 8 GB kit
Also I would also highly recommend you save your receipt, and your return shipping label when they die as you'll need the tracking number and all confirmation numbers as I've found the Corsair RMA department tends to lose packages
But actually about the product, speed and capacities are as advertised, and no kernel panics

Cheap, works exactly as advertised and has a great warranty (but that usually isn't necessary with Corsair products - they tend to last forever).
Overall, it works as advertised, and speed is noticeably faster
The memory modules themselves work as advertised and I'd be hard pressed to find a difference between them and OEMs.
I use them for an MBP 2011, the installation was a breeze, and they still work flawlessly

The computer recognized the memory right away and installation was a breeze
Installation was easy and the computer recognized that it had new parts

so If you don't really need 16 GB maybe settle with just 8 GB.Windows 7 didn't improve performance from 8 GB to 16 GB it will only matters to you if you are actually going to use that amount of memory on programs that take advantage of it (64 bit software only
Despite the hardware test coming up as "Compatible" this memory causes frequent leaks and will SEVERELY hamper the performance on these models
Easy to install, no problem working with Windows 7, good performance
Great performance, good for its price, 100% recommended.
Resolved sluggish performance problems when running applications through a Virtual Machine.
I'd recommend this as a worthwhile upgrade for any Mini.
Overall good DDR3 RAM for anyone looking fro a quick cheap upgrade it gets the job done.
After looking at an OEM upgrade from Apple (Expensive) to 8GB, and doing some research and reading to make sure this item was compatible with my Macbook Pro,
I would not have a problem recommending this a an upgrade
The upgrade was cheaper than Apple and made my Mac fast.
I used Corsair brand in my desktop pc and laptops memories and so far all are working good till now, so whenever I upgrade the memory I always buy Corsair brand.
Late 2008.The ram is working well with the Macbook, just a pity that the Macbook doesn't support more ram
I will continue to monitor as I know that RAM can be deceiving and work initially and then have issues later
with the original RAM it was working just fine, after I change the RAM my computer are having a lot of problems!!
In short, and perhaps rather obviously, dropping in 8 gigs of shiny new RAM won't turn your lazy old work mule of an notebook into a blazing gaming hoss.
Overall, I got exactly what I ordered and they work exactly as they should
Now, while my little girly hands had trouble opening the case and no trouble popping the cards in and out, I could see someone with big manly hands having no trouble opening the case and then having some difficulty popping the cards in and out because the space was snug
I believe the stick was tampered with at some point b/c the package was partially opened and the stick had some marks on it.
Ordered the 8GB kit from Crucial instead (working just fine as of this review).
I am shocked that a corsair product dosen't work as it should.
Amazon customer service responded quickly when informed about my poor service with Corsair and also my failure to receive the rebate
Ordered the 8GB kit from Crucial instead (working just fine as of this review).
The Corsair RAM has intermittent failures that don't show up with Memtest or Drive Genius
I am shocked that a corsair product dosen't work as it should.
, I've installed them on a IMac and since then it began to have problems and catastrophic failures with the Kernel and some programs like Google chrome
I initially purchased this memory a few months ago and had compatibility issues immediately
, good think I didn't buy the ssd neither, I rather buy a new 2017 laptop than the damn old one I returning, thank u for not confirming it for shipping, u must be dumb, but I don't need upgrades for a piece of trash old 2010 macbook pro.
I read a few reviews that said there were compatibility issues for Macs since this card isn't specifically stated to work for this

I had been a bit concerned whether or not this was the right module, but it definitely is the one.
These modules are perfect for the newest MacBook Pro 17".
Testing it first with Memtest will save you hours of other troubleshooting if you happen to get a bad module.
Every manufacturer has a bad module get through now and then, so in my experience it's always wise to thoroughly test new memory before use

Research on Apple's support page and some forums, suggested that the 3-beep freeze was directly related with the RAM (possibly overheating, faulty component, or even problems caused by a corrupt Hard Disk
Hard Disk Had no problems at all after running "Disk Utility", Ram sockets were tested via software and were found perfect
The other option was to consider an hybrid hard disk but this memory is a lot cheaper
well I just hope they could be sold for in my
dont blame amazon for price changes :D

Ram came defective, was unstable in OSX and failed all memory tests I ran
After reading so many bad reviews of other vendor 2x8Gb packages I ran several memory tests to make sure mine were working fine (test run on each SoDIMM individually and as a pair).
I didn't run a benchmark test yet, but it works flawlesly.
Altogether between the new and old memory modules I have five good and five that failed the memory test
I used for testing included some very comprehensive hardware tests, including those for memory.
