Recently purchased this webcam to replace my 10 year old Microsoft HD camera which I gave to a friend to use, was very pleased with the camera quality, was noticeably better then my old webcam but the audio quality was terrible, as in so bad that compared to even my 10 year old camera, I couldn't be understood most of the time when I talked through it

The camera works as it should be, though the part that grips a monitor could have been designed better.

If there was a way to turn off the lights within the camera then camera is possibly usable?I returned the product due to heating up while idle as thats something I dont want to deal with.
