My indoor antenna worked better, I set it up with new cable, new mount, still very weak signal
-
, the signal also very stable
-
The Amplified antenna does help pull in a stronger signal from afar
-
and I get great signal on all my local channels.
-
I tried it first without the amplifier, as I am in a city and didn't want to overwhelm the tuner with too strong a signal
-
all strong signals as well as a bunch of other stations from cities between Madison and Rockford.
-
I attempted to split the signal to multiple TVs and the signal went to crap for all channels
-
I have perfect signal
-
Usually at a solid 40-50% signal at night, but a strength of 90-100% lock in signal, nearly 80 miles away during off peak traffic times
-
The signals were not clear for that.
-
I receive usable signals from 63 miles away that do not show up on the indoor antenna
-
I have tried, but the ABC translator is only using 0.1 kw, and the signal is so weak that most of my equipment cannot even detect those channels.
-
Great signal
-
Results much better than expected, no dropouts, solid signal all the time (for where I live), and incredible HDTV picture.
-
Edit: I ended up not using the antenna, I got tired of losing the signal
-
Amazingly, I received steady signals from both directions
-
On some site they said to link to the splitter with two equal lengths of coax, but curiously two different lengths pulled in the strongest signal for the PBS
-
Unless you are splitting the signal to multiple
-
Good signal.
-
Not always a perfect signal or
-
Also the amplifier that came with the Leaf was terrible, did nothing but tank signal quality.
-
Karate Kick Miaga stance, scanned and so forth on the roof for a better signal
-
Maybe I am just too far away from any UF signals, but I mounted this at 17 feet above grade and turned it many ways, but never got a signal strong enough to the TV
-
Denver has their broadcast towers coming from one mountain so I could point it toward that and get good signals.
-
Was having difficulty getting solid signal from all my channels - furthest one is only 30 miles away...
-
but when I tried splitting the signal I couldn't get good reception in my bedroom
-
Not strong enough to split the signal though.
-
It was far better than my previous antenna, but would still have some pixelation and lost signal.
-
Since installation the antenna's weathered 5 snowstorms, about 3 inches of rain and wind gusts of over 50mph! never lost signal once due to weather unlike satellite.
-
I ran it to a splitter and to 5 rooms in the house and the signal is solid in each.
-
This feeds two TVs and the signal is great
-
of course during a storm I cant get some of the channels but still get great signal for most.
-
Don't get any more channels but the signal is much stronger and almost no pixelating or picture freeze
-
and I had to keep moving it around the room to get a good signal for whatever channel I was watching.
-
I recommend this antenna to whoever wants to improve the Free to Air signal they are receiving.
-
This thing picks up signals in both towns and clear as day
-
Very strong signal, living in the suburbs about 35-40 miles from towers
-
WNW of us came in with good signal.
-
We had tried several of the compact, hang on the wall 50 mile antennas and all of them had poor reception and interrupted signal
-
I split the signal to six TVs in my house, and all receive perfect reception
-
After all the misleading information on antennas (anything with a 150 mile range is a lie as invariable the noise overwhelms the signal
-
Was having difficulty getting solid signal from all my channels - furthest one is only 30 miles away...
-
Just put it up so far I'm getting every signal strong and clear that I am on the edge of getting distance
-
At 25 miles from Chicago, This antenna and amplifier pick up about 70 stations with good signal strength.
-
I'm guessing I live in a strong signal area.
-
Great little antenna, brings in a strong signal without even needing the signal booster, (if mounted and pointed correctly!
-
This antenna pulls in a great signal... very clear.
-
Results much better than expected, no dropouts, solid signal all the time (for where I live), and incredible HDTV picture.
-
It gives me a clear crystal signal.
-
Other channels had obviously a weak signal because they would pixelate and disappear regularly
-
The design is simple, but it is extremely effective, I mount it on a post at about 15 ft off the ground, it pulls in nice signals from the Madison stations which are 40 miles away
-
Despite my initial enthusiasm after relocating the amp closer to the antenna, my signals were still very inconsistent.
-
Good signal easy to install on my existing DirecTV location
-
you will lose signal and get a lot of pixilationand the antenna is 35' above ground, and this isn't my 1st antennapurchase or
-
Having said that I have a very strong signal from rooftop to my basement and used a signal splitter / amplifier to allow for whole house installation.
-
Pulls in great signal and even Canadian channels, we live in northern NY.
-
I can easily recommend this to those who are cutting the cable and need a directional antenna capable of amplifying weaker broadcast signals.
-
Signal was greatly improved and I haven't mounted on to the poll yet.
-
The plus is that this antenna works in the attic and can send a signal throughout the house
-
I was able to use my existing 75ohm coax ran to all my TVs to split the signal from the attic.
-
Tried inside attic first, got good signal but would occasionally get pixilated reception
-
I actually received stronger signal holding on to the stinger coming out of the coax fitting than when it was connected to the coax female.
-
Most antennas do not work at all here, but I have found one very small spot on the southern wall of my house (only about 1 foot square) that seems to get decent signal reflection from somewhere.
-
but it's not going to give the best signal strength
-
The included signal booster is a nice feature compared to other similarly priced antennas, it provides a strong enough signal from the antenna to feed the rest of my house through a cheap splitter
-
Just have someone check the signal strength on the tv while you point the antenna in different directions to make sure you are getting the strongest signal possible...
-
I was having a choppy picture and about half signal until I just unplugged the amplifier altogether.. now I get all 70+ channels my area offers
-
I mounted it in our attic above the 2nd floor to get the best signal
-
I did a signal strength test on my TiVo Roamio and found a direction that picked up the best signal strength for most channels
-
One very good thing is that the amplifier is NOT part of the antenna, this means you have a choice to not use it if you happen to find strong signals (over-driving signals in some equipment can cause more problems than weak signals).
-
The signals are consistent and reliable
-
Perfect clear signal 20 miles from down town, mounted in my attic
-
I picked up 16 channels quickly with a good signal.:)
-
I have it connected to a 4 way splitter and the signal is strong on all tvs despite varying coaxial cable lengths.
-
I am getting a crystal clear signal
-
Signal is great and the picture is perfect
-
On the lower power stations, the 1byOne "80 Mile" unit failed completely to provide enough signal, where the E-Sky unit was able to establish a stable picture
-
40 miles NNE of us also came in with a strong signal and another transmitter 60
-
So far it has withstood everything and continues to deliver a clear signal to all of our TVs
-
Probably with a shorter cable and not ground block the signals would have been stronger and might not have needed the amp which was included with this package by Bygone.
-
but with this I don't have to get up every time you go outside to move it to get a clear signal
-
An excellent product of good quality which has quickly and easily eliminated a HUGE amount of frustration previously experienced with moving a flat, tiny inside antenna around to many different locations in the house and still getting a weak, pixellated, intermittent, unwatchable, unrecordable signal.
-
When I went near the antenna, the signal would improve - even before touching it - so trying to get it to 'lock on' to the stations was a joke
-
There would be times when I would get a strong signal on one channel, and not on another, and I would move the antenna 1/8 of an inch to the right, and I would lose all signal for every channel.
-
Not sure if I gained any channels but, the low "virtual" channels 8.1 10.1 and 12.1 now come in as a "good " signal instead of "normal"Great product
-
There would be times when I would get a strong signal on one channel, and not on another, and I would move the antenna 1/8 of an inch to the right, and I would lose all signal for every channel.
-
On the more powerful stations, the 1byOne "80 Mile" antenna signal strength and picture stability was significantly less than the E-sky antenna, even though the E-Sky was opened, patched and glued back together, and was missing one of its passive elements
-
But it doesn't really matter, because we only need the one TV that was already hooked up to DirecTV before, and now we have picture-perfect high definition antenna signal coming in on that same TV.It's fantastic and has held up well to the elements
-
Signal is so perfect it looks like 4k
-
Signal is split to 5 different TV's and each work with no issue.
-
Signal is excellent with many stations detected.
-
All the other channels looked great with very strong signals.
-
TV had the same weak signal reception as the old beat up antennae I had previously
-
One very good thing is that the amplifier is NOT part of the antenna, this means you have a choice to not use it if you happen to find strong signals (over-driving signals in some equipment can cause more problems than weak signals).
-
I used the satellite base which I aimed toward weakest TV signal (found direction using free application on phone)
-
Fantastic reception.. the signal is strong enough to split with 4 TV's from about 50 miles.
-
I split the signal to two TVs.
-
The signal was stronger than anything else I tried before
-
so it's frustrating as to why this happens.
-
Product worked as it said
-
l needed a directional antenna instead of Omani direction because of distance of tv signals and it works very well
