The old adapter was playing out and had connection issues which made me think the receiver was the problem

I believe it is right time for you to abandon some stupid receivers requiring you to connect every minute

Setup is easy - plug in the power, pick the right audio cables from the selection included with the receiver (nice bonus which saved me from rifling through my box of old cables), connect the audio cables to an unused input on your audio receiver, pair a phone to the Bluetooth box, and you're ready to rock!

Great add on to a non blue tooth receiver,easy and very simple to use thank you, it saved me $ not having to purchase another receiver.
