Replacing batteries did not work

Everyone claims they stop working but its most likely just the batteries that died.

Both remotes worked for a total of about 2 weeks...replaced batteries and had them tested, not a battery issue.

The contacts are made of a cheap alloy that doesn't spring back, so the battery gradually loses contact and won't work

I would have no problem giving 5 stars, however they come with some cheap chinese batteries that literally last about 3-4 weeks.

We have a 2002 ford explorer an purchased 2 key fobs, neither one works, replaced batteries, tried their instructions over an over again and still nothing

Over the course of time, i had lost one of the transmitters, and the one i had was starting to wear out (buttons were worn, couldn't make out which button did what, etc), and the battery was going dead.

I can lock & unlock the doors and pop the trunk from about 5 cars away in a parking lot, and they also work from inside my house, as long as I can see the car.
