Handy on bad weather

Bought for "just in case" bad weather and the electricity goes out.

We will be buying a much better weather radio and throwing this one away

We live in tornado country, and had a scare last tornado season when we got severe weather and all of our power went out.

It's a small handheld unit, so I understand that tuning won't be like a bigger radio, but in times of need you want your hazard weather radio to be able to do its job and actually pull in hazard weather stations with minimal fuss

If you store it, take it out every 30-60 days and crank it for 3-5 minutes-especially if you keep it in a car; as cold weather will drain the battery quicker
