This unit is not completely silent, but it seems like it makes an appropriate amount of noise for a miniature refrigerator.
This unit is loud, very noisy
While the packaging was not damaged the unit came with damage to the bottom plate (a dent and huge scrape)
The unit works great, quiet, and nice design.
I recommend this unit IF it is in a separate room from where you work or near a bedroom doorway.

Then when we plugged it in, the button to "unlock" the temperature control on one side wouldn't work, so we can only adjust the temperature on one side.
