Configuration of the outlets works well.

This is an ideal configuration for "big" plugs with polarized/3 prong plugs.

It is a very nice configuration; much better than than the very common outlet tripplers I have (those with cords have the cord outer casing crack/break/shrink and those without don't sit well on the ground).The five outlets have rubber caps which will help keep the plugs clean
