Look from rear of spkr / top / right wire is "+"

I thought it was the cheap wires I used that came with the speaker until I tore the door apart and found it was a loose connection inside the speaker.

The wires from the cone are junk

they have a good sound to them but the wire that they come with is very cheap and MUST be replaced.

It came with good mounting hardware (wires, screws, and grills).I love the clarity of these, but the power just isn't there!I had it installed only on the passenger side of my car to compare it with my stock speaker, both hooked up to the factory head unit

Speakers blew first day and the wires coming off the coils were broken loose

The speakers suddenly stopped working, so I looked back at the wiring job I did and the wires were literally corroded and broke off

I just wish the supplied wire was thicker gauge, since its a pain to strip such fine wire without removing a few strands

One of the sets only had 1 wire in it for the 2 speakers and the other box had 2 wires, but one of them did not work...doing a process of elimination, discovered the crimp to the fastener of the negative wire had split the wire off in the fastener so it would only make occasional contact
