I know that sometimes this motion is really what it takes to soothe your baby to sleep, and if your baby happens to be a baby that needs that large swinging motion, then the Mama Roo may not be the best option for you.

You may think this is a lazy way out, but when you're exhausted and sore and have gotten up a million times already, it's a relief to be able to switch up the motions and sounds in an attempt to soothe your baby while you're also soothing yourself. :
