It was good for the price and sufficient quality for my occasional usage.

My alternative was to drive 25 miles to Harbor Freight for a better quality kit for $20 more - which I regret I didn't do.

Tapped a 4mm hole into cast iron block very easily clean cut no binding

The cut and finish of the Dyes and Taps is very good.

The 10-24 bit itself held up fine cutting steel

I don't currently have anything harder, but I doubt that, this set would have a problem with it...given good cutting fluid

Great kit for hobbyist or professionals have used the kit not only at home but also at the tractor dealership I work and have never had any issues best bang for your buck for sure

Tap worked great for cleaning up all 20 head bolt threads and the die cleaned up the bolt threads.

T-handle and die holder are crap

I successfully threaded some aluminum rods and cleaned up the threads on some nuts & bolts, and it worked fine for that.

It was well organized in the box and will use mainly for cleaning threads

Do the following to get good threads every time:-Use the correct tap drill size
