I successfully threaded some aluminum rods and cleaned up the threads on some nuts & bolts, and it worked fine for that.

Dyed a rod and also no binding with very clean thread's. nice that the case is marked what diameter and thread pitch

Tap worked great for cleaning up all 20 head bolt threads and the die cleaned up the bolt threads.

Do the following to get good threads every time:-Use the correct tap drill size

T-handle and die holder are crap
