    • I agree that the top plastic cap is hard to remove but at least it won't fall off easily and get lost ;-)
    • I was glad to read the reviews to know how to switch on the unit by removing the top plastic cap and pushing the blue button
    • The blue light, actually a switch, was covered by a clear plastic cap that had to be removed before the switch could be depressed
    • There are other novelty items with a swanky design and a nice cap on the switch
    • I thought it didn't come off, when looking at it for 30 min.-The cap can become easily lost, I wish they would redesign it and move the switch somewhere else
    • The clear plastic cap on top was a little hard to remove, since you need to push the blue switch on top to turn it on.
    • I purchased 2 more; use them mostly for iPhone / iPad / computer chargers, it stays in place, it's neat, no more power strip flopping around and falling behind the nightstand; also the power button has a very faint blue glow that is actually hard to see in daylight, at night it is very dim and if used on a nightstand will not disturb your sleep, also the cap over the power button has to be popped off (it takes a little effort) which is nice and will in no way be accidentally turned off even by little prying hands.
    • edit: I had to edit my review after I read the other reviews and discovered how to open the center protective cap to switch the unit on
    • The customer support agent seemed nonplussed and simply said that the power button was on top of the unit - under the clear cap
    • You need to take the clear cap off to push the on button and that's a good feature
    • And I recommend not losing the plastic caps
    • I don't recomend this unit to people with arthritis or difficulty with their hands as the cap is very smooth and snaps in place so securely is seems like removing it will break it, but it doesn't
    • The power button is underneath the clear cap and glows a faint blue when it is on.
    • You have to pop off the clear dome and press the button to activate it then pop the clear cap back on.
    • You have to remove the clear cap and push the button on or off, then replace the cap
    • There is also a hard clear transparent cap on the top of the power strip that probably prevents you from stepping on it and accidentally turning off the power, but it felt annoying to
    • It's also kinda difficult to remove the top cap.
    • There is a clear plastic cap on
    • Found out that on the top, there is a blue button covered by clear plastic cap
