    • They clearly make reference to the "on-off" button under the clear dome.
    • You have to pop off the clear dome and press the button to activate it then pop the clear cap back on.
    • Also, the plastic dome on the top is not easy to remove but probably shouldn't be in standard operation
    • While getting ready to leave a bad review I spotted one that said before you return it as broken, "pry off the clear plastic dome" and amazing, it works fine and it's now been several months of steady use
    • The "instructions" indicate you are supposed to push the blue button on top -- which is patently impossible, since the clear dome over it is non-removable
    • Just pop off the little clear dome and push the blue button to get back in business.
    • You got to pop the top plastic dome off with a knife and press the blue button
    • Also, if you replace the clear dome, it can be a challenge to remove again, requiring something to pry it loose with
    • I just leave it on now because the dome is on there pretty good...
    • I reset the trip button, put the dome back on and everything works
    • You have to remove the clear dome to access the on switch.
    • Make sure you remove the plastic dome and depress the button

    • The blue light on top is under a clear dome which appeared to be non removable
    • The lighted on/off switch on the top of the unit is protected by a clear plastic dome, which requires some effort to remove (in my opinion, a tight cover is preferable to one that could fall off easily)
    • It would have been nice had the manufacturer added 2 simple things:a) an indention somewhere on the clear plastic dome to help signify that it's supposed to come offb) put an ON/OFF label near the button, or the symbols
    • Upon further inspection, you have to pry open the top clear plastic dome and click the small blue button to turn it on.
    • I took a chance & used a screwdriver to pop the clear dome off & sure enough the blue button under it is the trip button
    • so I could plug in a Kill-o-watt at a nice angle for viewing
