It is a little bit of a pain to unclump it and get it to the shape you want it, but only takes a little super 77 or 90 to stick it in place and it does an awesome job at breaking up standing waves and improving the lows and mids.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Mighty Wurlitzer fan, and having just received my two Dayton 300-632 10" 100 watt ported subwoofers wanted to see what just one would do
I played the Tom Hazelton CD "The Pipes Of The Mighty Wurlitzer" at the San Sylmar Wurlitzer--which boasts true 16 cycle bass pipes, and with the sub cps cutoff at about 110 and the volume up to 2/3rds, the first selection "Mountain Greenery" blew the amplifier panel RIGHT OFF the back of the subwoofer.

I stuffed it in my Jeep's sound bar to eliminate vibrations and enhance the sound
I lined the insides and stuffed enclosure with a few bags and low and behold(literally), this gave me a better sound from the subs and none of that "fiberglass sound" you can get sometimes from fiberglass enclosures
and it immediately got at least 3db louder, deeper and tighter sounding
I found the best way to fluff this stuff is a pair of afro picks as silly as it sounds

Acousta-Stuf is a synthetic material made from crimped fibers
It is an excellent choice for filling or stuffing small enclosures or transmission line cabinets
Long fiber wool has been a favorite among serious speaker builders but Acousta-stuf is less expensive than long fiber wool and does not have the problem of harboring moths
Acousta-Stuf™ will also outperform Dacron, foam, and fiberglass.
Acousta-Stuf is a sound absorption, dampening fiber that will deepen bass, provide cleaner midrange and improve the dynamic extension of any speaker system
There are no health hazards with Acousta-Stuf and no mask or gloves are needed when using this product; the melting point is a very high 490°F
Most sealed and vented enclosures require 1/2 lb
of dampening material per cubic foot of enclosure
For best results it is recommended to loosely fill the material throughout the enclosure.
