Really a neat device.

I really appreciate this device - easy to use - great and solid transmission.

I sees the device, starts the process of talking to it, or trying to when I select the device it sees... but fails every time to connect

This device works pretty decent with Microsoft's Surface Pro 3

Not a bad device for the price

Despite what other reviews say (and one wonders if they were paid or sponsored reviews?), I tried this with 3 very popular devices (Nexus 7, Asus Windows 8.1, and Samsung Galaxy S3) and two of the three do not work!

Basically these devices do fine for general web, powerpoint, and word type use but as soon as video starts they immediately lag and get choppy.

I spent hours looking for fixes and even contacted their customer support which was useless, after being told my "device" wasn't compatible, and trying this on 4 different devices all of which met the criteria for use of their product they acclaimed, it was obviously something wrong with every computer I own, rather then it being their device.

I have used it for a couple of days only, but it seems to be a very good device

The latest firmware broke the device, but the customer support team managed to help me fix the issue.

I try to google information regarding the device such as what ghz does it run on, does it use bluetooth to connect from computer -> tv, etc

Older devices may have glitchy compatibility however I'd suspect newer devices with Miracast should not have any issues

Product description and packaging state that, with this device, one can "mirror and project anything from a compatible device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) to an HDTV or HD projector"

I don't know if it's this device or mine but my laptop frequently freezes when connecting to this and my Android phone inexplicably fails to connect about a quarter of the time.

The dongle actually gets so hot it might be a fired hazard or at least damage the device you cinnect it to

I've seen some reviews how some people are irritated that it's laggy with mobile games, this is not a good device to use with gaming, and not sure why anyone would

That said, when the Sony did connect, it seemed pretty seamless, but worthless for me if it doesn't work with any modern (non-iOS) device I throw at it.

Its annoying but still the best device i've used out of three different brands.

Tried this with our Nexus5 and Nexus5x, both on Marshmallow - neither would see the device under the "Cast" menus - it does connect through WiFi direct, and the ScreenBeam app works, updated the firmware to 5.3.10.0, still no joy in screencasting

The ChromeCast device works with everything and would be a better choice.

Good device for mirroring your phone to television when you don't have a wi-fi network available, works very smoothly, picture doesn't stutter, or miss frames.

The device loses connection when to far away which is hardly any distance at all
