Actiontec Single Dual-Band Wireless Network Extender and Ethernet Over Coax Adapter (WCB3000N)

    • You must have an existing MoCa network or MoCa capable cable modem or a MoCa bridge adapter
    • If you don't have an outlet in a place where you want this to be, just use a cable and it works just as fine
    • Used my own coax and ethernet cables, and it still didn't work
    • Literally just plugged in the coaxial cable and worked off the bat
    • Just plug in your rg 6 cable and power it up and it works
    • My came with time Warner Cable software and as unable to turn the wifi off, between this and my quantaum
    • (you will need a splitter and 2 coaxial cables, 1 to go to the cable and the other to the new box, as well as an ethernet cable if you plan to hardwire your device). My speed went from 11.86 download/20.88 upload to 42.95 download/ 52.64 upload

    • I only needed to tone the cable outlet in the master bedroom to hook up the proper cable at the splitter

    • For those giving one star because it lacked an Ethernet cable and coax splitter — is that really a big deal
    • This product is supposed to include 7 items and it’s missing the Ethernet cable, coax cable, and coax splitter
    • Taking one star away for missing coax cable, network cable and splitter
    • Included in the box are the WCB3000N Wireless Network Extender, 1 Ethernet cable, 1 coax cable, 1 power adapter, 1 coax splitter, base stand, and a Quick Start Guidewas missing coax splitter and coaxial cable and startup guide.
    • Finally have WiFi for both desktop without messy cables
    • EDIT after a few weeks of use: As noted below, the installation went fine, as I had the missing cables and connectors
    • Was able to google the setup instructions and make up for the missing parts (cables), but if it supposed to be included than include it.
    • Like many of reviewers here, I was trying to find a wifi extender so that I could have the signal as strong as near the main router
    • Ethernet connection was just as fast as if it was connected directly to the router which is impressive
    • I had been told that this would solve my problem (at the very least, give me a broader wifi range, as well as, the ability to connect my PS4 via Ethernet), so onwards I went
    • It didnt work as we expected
    • I have no patience with things that don't work as they should, so I'll be returning the unit to Amazon for a refund.
