Easiest network device i have ever setup

; it will be whatever your router assigns it via DHCP or otherwise if assigning a static IP.All in all, this is a great deal for a very capable device

Oh, and I assume the reason this device is so cheap now, is because it's the old, obsolete tech of MoCA 1.1 (up to 140 Mbps) and now there is better available with MoCA 2.0 (up to 400 Mbps.)

This is a very useful device that works well and is easy to install for those with Verizon services

While the devices themselves are great, the boxes state they come with cables and splitters.

Makes the network structure a little bit more complicated, which can trick other devices (like Chromecast, Fire TV) into being unable to find devices on the network, but I am assuming I'll eventually be able to figure that part out if I spend some time on it.

This device is great

This device doesn't like setting up WPA2 from another router manufacturer

Apparently you need to buy some other device for this to work

These devices seem great when they work.

This is to simplify a seperate device from your other wifi router to broadcast and give you signal in places of your home or work that signal was weak or lacking

This used to be my most favorite internet device

Like others, I may have received a device that fell off the truck

After 6 months this device will not work

We have Frontier as our Internet Service Provider and this device absolutely works like a charm for what would otherwise be dead Wifi areas of our home!

For $13 you can't go wrong as Frontier wanted to sell us an inferior extender device for $199.

Amazing device

this devices is like your current coaxial installation as a Ethernet (100mbps)

Note: I own an old brick house, so even the most expensive devices dont penetrate most areas.

Without this, your neighbor could also go on Amazon and buy this wonderful $12 device and also be on your network

The device works well, but the support from the people of Actiontec is very bad

I even ordered a second one to ensure I have complete coverage, both wirelessly as well as wired throughout my house for all of my internet capable devices.

This device will not work by itself (it isn't designed to) and it will not create a network where one doesn't already exist

I can find fault with most modern electronic devices, but I can't think of a way to improve this one, and I highly recommend it.

Not all devices use the 5 GHz signals, but your newer mobile devices will, so don't ignore that
