The wireless N signal works just fine as I did not need an AC signal pushed on those floors.

Prior to disabling the 5G the extender worked, but my signal on the extender AND my original router were constantly dropping.

THis works amazingly well, I set this up to have wired connections for xbox and ps4, also addresses wireless dead-spot.
