I have tried and failed on various occasions to find earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) that actually worked

Noise cancellation is OK for me, works better for someone else in my house, but let that not be an issue, to each his own!

Noise cancellation is less aggressive than the BT 100 and the HBS-800, but the "aware mode" feature which temporarily cancels ANC works well and is more convenient than finding the switch to shut it off as with the bluetooth sets I have owned.
