Because it's powered, bass sounds really powerful even coming from my phone

Carrying case: although this might not be a big deal, having a case make it easier for storage as well as protect the headphone cable.- Decent sound quality: with ANC turned off, the sound is pretty good

I will continue to use my M50x for at-home use simply because they cost 4 times as much and do have more accurate sound, but for travelling or using with my phone, this guy is a lot more convenient and has more useful features (plus if I lose them, I'm not out $150)

The sound is a bit worse and the noise cancelling is also a bit worse but for 40 dollars these are really good value
