It was a good USB stick, but it died after only 2 years for no apparent reason.

Great USB stick

Previously, I had some compact Kingston USB sticks, which were a disappointment.

It works almost as fast as when I run it off my hard drive whereas all the free USB sticks that had collected around my house over the years were around 1/10 the speed and couldn't load most sites.

This is a funny shaped memory stick, that works faster than a usb 2.0 stick, but not much in my opinion.

Of course, a $80 stick would be faster, but this thing will copy small or large files in at about 20-25MB/s (across mixed sizes)

This stick is very fast at transferring data, has a nice feel and look, and seems quite sturdy.

If you are not a super tech geek and just want a fast USB stick with a lot of space, you are safe getting this one

According to the specs, this is pretty fast for an 8GB USB3 model, since the transfer rates are often lower on smaller sized USB sticks in the same product line (for example, look at the top of the line Sandisk USB3 stick, and the write speed is lower on the 16GB model than their larger sticks) so this is pretty competitive if you want a small drive.

great little USB stick, works great, has good solid speeds with usb 3.0 even on usb 2.0 seems to be go faster than most of my old 2.0 sticks

BUT I wish the stick had an activity led like my older Sandisk and Sony products

it's incredibly slow (<1MB/s) write and slow
