The glossy black finish is nice, but I would love it if the manufacturer would provide more finishing options (they only offered glossy black and mahogany, and pianos come in a wide variety of finishes

On a positive note, the legs had a nice polished ebony finish

The inside of the bench where the fabric is attached to the top of the bench does not look as well finished as it did in the picture.

As others have mentioned, the legs are wrapped in paper in the box and occasionally you get a little finish problem or ding
