Before this product, I received no reception or very fuzzy reception

The cord on the antenna is far too short to allow for placement in the area that would provide the best reception

It works great to me, recently I have had several rainy days and the reception has been not so great.

I just placed it on the stand next to the TV for now (did not hang) and didn't have any issue picking up reception

At the moment one is just hanging behind the TV and the reception is good enough that I haven't felt an urgent need to try other locations.

I bought a couple of these to put on the TV's without cable boxes and the reception has been fantastic.

Update 8.8.17Having tried several locations including 3 walls, height adjustments and changing the room arrangement to try and get better reception (including an attempt to use on a window) the results were far from satisfactory
