If you're using for anything other than paper, I suggest adding cheap dollar store drawer liners, because the plastic is almost TOO smooth

The worst part of all is that the drawers are designed with no reinforced tracks which means the cheap plastic material will quickly "shave" on the sharp metal rails of the unit causing: the drawers to periodically fall-out; the two limiter tabs on the front of the drawers to pop-off and break (can't fix them they are molded) and last but not least the drawers to tip out and spill on the floor.

The plastic is pretty strong

1/2 full is still TOO FULL and it bowes the sides of the flimsy plastic drawers

the quality isn't brilliant.fyi--the silver looking knobs are of course cheap plastic, but if yours comes with 2 that are chipped/with black spots like mine, then you'll be requested to go through the lengthy process of submitting a claim via email w/ photos and a receipt

Plastic is cheap, but it did the job.

The drawers themselves are very, very flimsy plastic and deform easily

but now they hang and fall off the rails when you pull them out because the plastic is not sturdy enough to hold less than 1-1/2 pound of materials

Flimsy plastic drawers are not wide enough to fit solidly into the grooves they are supposed to sit in

it looks like the frame is metal but turns out it's cheap plastic

The colorful plastic removable drawers hold many lightweight items and many papers.

The plastic of the drawers moving across the frame of the set produces a sandpaper like affect

The FLIMSY PLASTIC drawers are slightly smaller width than the frame Slots

but it's as strong as it needs to be and is darn cute too.
