Never worked, bad o2 sensor with either too lean at idle (afr +17) or too rish with boosting (afr 10 and below)
-
Trashed the first sensor in a week then had to send the gauge into AEM for warranty, it just flashed all over the board
-
had a sensor either dead out of the box, or it lasted a week
-
Second sensor was defective
-
Ok so the sensor worked great for about 5 months,
-
I swapped the bad sensor with a Bosch 17212 from the local parts store
-
the sensor that comes with the guage is crap, and will literally fly around between 1 and 16 while driving, my advise like many others who got this guage is to get a quality Bosch o2 sensor, the guage is worth the money but its sensor is, well, crap
-
Gauge works fine but came with a faulty sensor doesn’t work
-
O2 Sensor was bad right out of the box
-
The 02 sensor failed after 2 days.

-
Contacted AEM support and we diagnosed the 02 sensor had gone bad and needs to be replaced
-
the sensor died after a few months of use, no way to ask for compensation.
-
so it burns a little bit of oil, also sensor comes out very clean when replacing it, no oil residues or contaminants, it's just a poorly made expensive sensor, will not buy this again.
-
Like many other reviews, my sensor is dead on arrival
-
Gauge is nice sensor failed with in around 2
-
The sensor is absolutely trash
-
Do yourself a favor and buy the gauge without the sensor then get a true genuine Bosch sensor.
-
Does work good now but they need to solve the bad sensor problem
-
clean the sensor before you put it in, they package it with grease and it was messing up my readings
-
Ok so I ordered this 2 times and both times the sensor was garbage
-
Sensor bad out of box on two of them
-
Innovate burnt out 2 02 sensors in the first 3 month that I had it
-
Their faulty sensor didn't look anything like the Bosch sensor, yet they advertise it as having sensors by Bosch.
-
Sensor went bad after just 2 months
-
Came in missing the o2 bung and faulty sensor
-
Received and wired everything up, found sensor was dead
-
It arrived with a defective cheap sensor that didn't even work
-
Did they put all the bad sensors together with a mix of good ones and try to dump them using Amazon
-
My sensor that was provided was working for about 30 seconds then completely died
-
Terrible product!!Sensor doesn't work right out of the box, if you want it replaced you have to jump through hoops with aem to get it.
-
The ones I just bought got 2 bad oxygen sensors out of the box that makes we wonder if they have gone down hill since than.
-
My sensor was also bad
-
The Sensor failed the third time I cranked the car.
-
This gauge, the 30-4110, is using cheaper chinese sensors
-
Others have mentioned the 02 sensor it comes with being crap, but I haven't had any issues with it.
-
Faulty sensor within a week
-
The sensor it came with was broken right out of the box
-
Indicating bad sensor
-
The advertized that it came with a genuine Bosch sensor.
-
The sensor was bad right out of the box.
-
and then the sensor quit working
-
sensor doesnt work had to buy a new one
-
The sensor will most likely go bad
-
Like many other reviews, my sensor is dead on arrival
-
Everything worked well for about a solid week, then the sensor went out, waiting to see if they’ll replace it for me or not, I was asked for the following:Full name, Email,Phone, Shipping Address, Part number, Serial number, Receipt: (pdf/
-
So Both the sensor and the guage were probably bad.
-
Sensor came dead on arrival, it isn't a real bosch sensor
-
A sensor came defective and even said it on the sensor
-
5/5 stars except for the bad sensor
-
The sensor seems very reliable and you can always purchase it separately if it goes out.
-
Sensor is bad out of the box, for the first few days it would slowly goto full lean and now it stays at 14.7 after startup
-
I received a faulty wideband sensor.. did all the testing and sensor reads between 15-16
-
All signs pointed to bad sensor
-
Should have done better research, this 4.9 sensor with a resistor for calibration is frequently replaced and found not working right out of the box.
-
The sensor no longer works after 3 days
-
The first gauge went fully lean no matter what I did, requested a replacement through amazon and the new sensor had exact same problem after 5 minutes of the car running
-
The sensor was crap right out of the box just like everyone else experience on here
-
First off, talked to AEM after receiving knock off sensor
-
But 3 days into install the sensor failed & AEM does not warranty the sensor
-
O2 sensor is not engraved like the original Bosch
-
Based on the tech department's speech and reasons for failed sensors maybe they were not designed for exhaust systems on cars.
-
CHEAP CHINESE KNOCKOFF SENSOR
-
Pretty sure the sensor is a fake, bosch o2 sensors have the part number on the connector and say bosch on them somewhere
-
Gauge works, lights up and all that, but came with a bad sensor.
-
Welp my 02 sensor was faulty right out of the box
-
1st sensor was defective, Amazon sent me a replacment unit
-
They farmed out the sensors to an overseas maker to make more money and it didn't work out
-
Contacted AEM, they said more likely I got a faulty sensor, I ordered replacement
-
Used for a day and the sensor went bad, got a replacement for AEM and same deal
-
a known good sensor and it
-
(they have good sensors and only fit the 30-4100).
-
but I'm not sure why the sensor I got was damaged lucky for me that I have another senor with the 6 pin to replace it
-
Sensor did not work out of the box
-
Spent hours this weekend installing this only to realize the display is stuck on 14.7 indicating faulty sensor.
-
02 sensor was broken out of the box, then comes the replacement the 02 sensor worked for about 10 minutes on KY way
-
the sensor that comes with the guage is crap, and will literally fly around between 1 and 16 while driving, my advise like many others who got this guage is to get a quality Bosch o2 sensor, the guage is worth the money but its sensor is, well, crap
-
The sensor that comes with this kit has a part number but its not bosch and doesn't say bosch anywhere.
-
THE RIGHT 02 SENSOR
-
They verified that the sensor is bad but won't do anything about it.
-
Also don’t think they send an authentic Bosh sensor
-
Sensor went bad within a month, couldn't return because the return window had closed
-
IF your car is slightly rich you will foul the sensor and you will have to buy another wideband unit.
-
Performed sensor test to determine that sensor was bad
-
I am hoping AEM will replace the bad sensor under warranty.
-
I suspect the sensor is the issue
-
Before I install the sensor I tested it using the brake parts cleaner method and it worked
-
Faulty sensor, wrote customer service and no reply...
-
I paid them and shipped it to them (at my expense), and waited over a month before they sent me an email claiming there was nothing wrong with it and they were shipping it back, blaming my o2 sensor
-
Seems to be pretty common that these sensors are faulty out of the package
-
first! If you want to spend $160 and throw the dice that your sensor will be good, then be my guest
-
Wire up and installed by the book could not get it to read burned up every sensor I put on it
-
then after about 6 miles of driving the gauge just started showing --- seems this sensor has failed as well
-
The sensor died within a month
-
Great Product, have heard mixed reviews on these cheaper AFR sensors but it seems to be ok
-
The sensor was defective right out of the box
-
Failed oxygen sensor right out of the box
-
They did not refund my money or respond to further emails about the issue when I asked them to explain themselves or offer me a 'good' o2 sensor if they were going to insist every one I bought was bad
