Nice range even with no powered zwave devices yet.

Perfect Z wave control with good range

I did not try to use it's inbuilt battery by unplugging and taking it to the device as it gives pretty good range in my house

Decent range, paired it with openhab, have not had any issues thus far.

The range is pretty good

Pros:+ Plug and play compatibility in any current Linux distribution+ Decent range as far as Z-Wave

While the Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5 works fine I had hoped that it would have greater range.

The Aeotec stick has quite reasonable range for such a small device, reaching through two walls before the first device and chaining communications several more rooms out to my garage

Excellent range too

The range seems better, and it supports Z-Wave Plus, so I can add compatible devices from a pretty good distance

Got everything linked up without a problem and the range is awesome

so it has the newer Z-Wave Plus chip with a better range

The online support and website are pretty sucky as of 2017.
