    Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5, Z-Wave Plus USB to create gateway

    • I write my own code for Zwave and while it took a bit to muddle my way through the specific things that Aeon does (I am NOT a Zensys licensee) it wasn't that bad to get integrated, and having
    • Home automation is almost impossible without internet, but I found this way and it works for me
    • and now I have 2 virtual 3 way switches and a virtual 4 way switch thanks to this great little product.
    • They need to have a better way to upgrade their equipment
    • There is no easy way to turn them off
    • All signs point toward the UZB stick from Sigma Designs as the "right" way to go when setting up a Z-wave gateway - after all, Sigma Designs makes the chip used in all Z-wave gateways.
    • The online support and website are pretty sucky as of 2017.
