The motor slows down more than I think it should, but it is consistently sharpening the pencils to a nice point.
He also mentioned that the sharpener gave him a nice point to write with.
I love how this pencil sharpener doesn't take up much room, sharpens the pencils to a perfect point every time (the 3-tip selection is SUCH a brilliant idea), and how the suction cups on the bottom seriously grip onto my counter.
The sharpener boasts the ability to sharpen tips to three degrees of sharpness (I've included a photo that shows how sharp the point can get on each setting)

A more humble feature, but one worthy of note, is the addition of suction cups at the base of the machine to prevent the sharpener from sliding during use
I didn't know before I bought it that it had an auto-stop, but it's a super cool feature.
It stops automatically when pencil is sharp nice feature, got in on a granite countertop suction cups work perfect to hold it in place
