Loud things will dominate the sound without plugs but since I bought these as a safe music option in a high paced packed environment awareness is key

I like my music a lot

When I head out on a bike ride or run, these allow me to enjoy music while keeping aware of the environment

It has been 9 years as of this review since I have been able to fully enjoy music.

Speech is very clear to understand (the primary reason I ordered it), and music sounds great

Music, Audiobooks, Podcasts, and calls were all stellar with the headphones, watching a show was a little tricky just because I think there is too much going on and the noise levels vary some much, the bass isn't

So the beeps are startlingly loud when you are listening to some quiet music
