Wasn’t going to pay for two set top boxes from my cable provider

I purchased 2 of them to split 1 cable box into 2 zones

I plugged the uverse box directly into the AVR - that worked using a separate tv, and plugged the uverse box into the extender - and that worked at the remote tv.

Install the other unit the "HDMI in" with the UVERSE Set top box.

(I'm too lazy to carry it back and forth) and that works like you are in the same room as the box

I've tried different set-top-boxes, and none work, but they do work if i connect them directly

The plan was keep the set top box hidden in the basement, so we ran HDMI, CAT 5E, and RG6 COAX cables between the basement and the TV Mount location.

One thing to note is that I am not using the IR repeaters on this unit because I am using the Harmony Home Control to control the set top box remotely.
