So, I set about finding an mp3 player I could use when I went running that would take a normal, REPLACEABLE, battery.

Needed something that wasn't a hassle and would not drain phone battery

After 3 hours of play on a fresh battery, it warbled to a stop and died

I chose it for the replaceable battery but now will have to drill or burn holes in it to connect a lanyard.

So, when the APTEK stops because the battery is nearly exhausted, don't just keep restarting the player until the last electron is sucked out of the battery.

It seems fairly simple to use but it drains the battery quickly.

My first one did drain the battery for some reason, but they replaced it quickly with great customer service.

All the players I've gotten prior to this one claim some lengthy battery life, but they never stay powered up anywhere near as long as they claim for them

If you plan to use it as MP3 player for car, you must have some skills in Electronics to build 12v to 1.5v power adapter and hook it up inside of cirquitry as a mock battery

The mp3 player will remember your place (for up to several minutes) when you change a nearly exhausted battery – but it will forget your place if the battery is completely dead

Generally you can press & hold M for this menu, though if you release too quickly it may get stuck on the volume control slider; in that case press R/V to recover and then just keep trying
