We will be purchasing another unit to enjoy at home while our son takes his to enjoy elsewhere

I just ordered the remote and I will be ordering a second exos-9 to make an awesome home unit

However, I found this unit to be capable of reproducing above average sound quality with minimal distortion on playback at various volume levels.

Hopefully this will be my last portable sound system (unless Aiwa comes up with an even more powerful unit)

The first unit I got had issues where it would overload when I turned it to 3/4 way volume and up which would cause the music to stop

The Link control is to pair with a 2nd Exos-9 for people better off than I who can afford 2 units

I have had my share of portable units, this one is on top

Keep in mind that they wont be as good as a high quality stereo unit or they would be much more

The unit also has a port that will be used to load the new software that is released on the final units so don't worry about the prototypes becoming obsolete upon the release of the final version

I did see in only one review that someone thought the unit had a "rattle", and I actually thought that at first with this unit, only to discover it was the surface I had it on as this unit puts out so much lower end

I didn't want to spend $300, but this unit is worth the cost

This is well worth the money, and is great as a portable unit or in the home

I hated all my previous sound units that you had to turn up quite a bit to hear everything going on in the song.

I love my hifi and have some pretty outstanding equipment, but for the price, this little unit is fantastic

The unit worked great at first, we purchased 32 days ago and now the unit will not hold a charge, defeats the portable aspect and now my return window has closed over 30 days

If you want value, high quality sound, and a subtly nice looking unit, go for this one

I was skeptical of all the 5 star reviews, the lower ratings are what looked to be faulty units, naturally a 5 star product on amazon is questionable

I will recommend this unit to anyone looking for a speaker.

The built-in EQ allows you to use one of 4 preset settings or adjust it yourself and this functionality just makes the unit that much more well-rounded for filling anyone's needs for proper sound

This unit far exceeded my expectations as I purchased it solely on the other reviews that I read

yet the music is still as you'd expect it to sound which you can't say about the smaller portables (which also rely on way to much bass - bass needs treble as an offset people)- multi-function - yes, this is a big unit, but it is light to me when you grab it by the padded handle (nice touch Aiwa) and this unit is portable because of the built-in battery which you can't say about the Bose Soundtouch 20/30's etc.- appeal - this unit is CLASSY in appearance and properly done (take the hint Sony with your childish flashing lights on some of your current portables)-

I honestly can't believe what an awesome sound comes out of this sweet sweet unit

If I did purchase another one it would really be an indulgence as a single unit is capable of thunderous volume levels with only minimal distortion at high levels in bass heavy songs

This unit is outstanding!

The unit stopped working while on battery power.

The unit has a nice and deep bass, and also very clear and crisp high frequencies

I bought a refurbished unit direct from Aiwa’s site - it was $20 cheaper than the $269 price listed on Amazon for a “like-new” used unit

The sound is excellent which makes it a much better choice than another smaller, poor sound and poor bass unit that I tried

music tends to cut in and out when other audio is on around the speaker...or my unit my be a defect...

Jimmy in Texas went above and beyond to send me a new 6.5 woofer as I damaged mine (my personal fault, hard on it in the military) and he even sent me a gift which was beyond any customer service I’ve ever seen

n’t the speakers fault it’s just not designed with that in mind.
